Very well written article on the reforms in reservation. The problem is any reform or change for the betterment will be opposed by the opposition and may cause electoral losses to the ruling party. Any major reforms should be done immediately after winning a election. 5 years period will give the ruling party time to absorb the nagative impact of the reforms.

अनुसूचित जातियों तथा अनुसूचित जनजातियों के क्रीमी लेयर के लोगो को वर्तमान आरक्षण व्यवस्था के अंतर्गत जो आरक्षण दिया गया है उससे हो रहे आरक्षित वर्ग के कुछ खास लोगों द्वारा आरक्षण के सारे फायदे लिए जाने और दूसरी और अनुसूचित जातियों तथा अनुसूचित जनजातियों के अधिकांश लोगों तक आरक्षण का जरा भी लाभ न पहुंचना और इस कारण इन वर्गों से जुडी बहुत बड़ी आबादी का राष्ट्र की मुख्यधारा से बाहर रह जाना एक अत्यंत ज्वलंत समस्या और चुनोती है और इस बारे में सभी नागरिकों को अवगत कराना जरूरी है। जनता की आवाज़ द्वारा आरक्षण के असल हकदारों अर्थात गरीब वर्ग और आज तक आरक्षण के लाभ से वंचित अनुसूचित जाति, जनजाति और अन्य पिछड़े वर्ग के भाइयों और बहिनों को भी शिक्षित किया जाना चाहिए। साथ ही साथ उन्हें यह भी बताया जाना होगा कि आपका हक आपके समाज के संपन्न लोग पीढ़ी दर पीढ़ी मार रहे हैं।

देश में शिक्षा व इलाज का व्यापारीकरण पूरी तरह बंद होना चाहिए

Social injustice in the name of social justice should be addressed on priority

1. One election all legislatures 2. Minimum graduation education qualification for all candidates 3. Transparency in election funding 4. All indicted candidates be disqualified

Almost all reforms are the need of the hour. The citizens have to come forward voluntarily to contribute in building a better nation.

A Suggestion for Reforming the Reservation System In the present situation, the Government is unlikely to completely abolish the reservation system, and perhaps it should not do so. However, certain changes in the eligibility criteria could make the system more balanced and merit-oriented. The passing marks and cutoff marks should be the same for candidates belonging to all categories. Reservation may continue in terms of the number of seats, but the minimum academic standard should not be compromised. This would ensure that only candidates meeting the same minimum standard are selected for important positions and institutions. If reserved seats remain vacant because candidates do not meet the common passing marks or cutoff, the Government could instead provide financial assistance, fee concessions, scholarships, and free or highly subsidized education to economically disadvantaged people from reserved communities. This would help genuinely underprivileged students compete on an equal footing without lowering the academic or selection standards. In this way, reservation can continue as a means of social support, while merit, competence, and quality of selection are maintained at the same level for everyone.

Law enforcement is a matter which is a serious concern to the citizens.the authirities entrusted with the responsibility of law enforcement do not act in an independent and impartial manner with the result that crimes and offences which require immediate attention and action are not considered in the right manner which deny quick responses from them because of their inability to redress the grievances of the citizens in accordance with the laws of this country . in other words they are not very serious while performing their duties. They should be made people oriented to gain their confidence.

Thoughts: Great initiative. Today’s youth need level playing field where everyone gets equal opportunities based on economic need, merit, and individual circumstances. A system that gives greater support to economically disadvantaged students and families, regardless of caste, could ensure that help reaches those who genuinely need it. India should invest more in quality education, scholarships, skill development, and employment opportunities so that every child can compete on a more equal footing. - Shivani Bhardwaj

Thoughts: This is an amazing initiative, so relevant to the times. Demographic diversity needs to be appreciated by the those in power, starting with how it comes to play and what changes it demands. Thoughts: Reservation should be strictly on the basis of - Children of people who have spent their lives serving our nation through uniformeed forces (Army Navy Airforce para military forces, Police ) No reservation - if the parent is above a certain economic level, whichever caste he/she may belong to.
